After a defensive mix-up in Ayvalik FK's zone, Oğuzalp Ocak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vacid Özaltuğ came out of the goal and Oğuzalp Ocak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After having played for 53 minutes, Oğuzalp Ocak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erfelek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oğuzalp Ocak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Erfelek's goal looked a bit too open when Rıfkı Polat came free, but Aral Tanacan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rıfkı Polat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aral Tanacan having to make a save. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Oğuzalp Ocak sped through Ayvalik FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vacid Özaltuğ. Affan Zevahir charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Affan Zevahir the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ayvalik FK booed when Erfelek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Affan Zevahir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aral Tanacan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. 78 minutes into the game, Rıfkı Polat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Aral Tanacan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Rıfkı Polat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oğuzalp Ocak got free with Vacid Özaltuğ in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aral Tanacan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rıfkı Polat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Genco Seyidhan struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Vacid Özaltuğ didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Erfelek.
