The tension between the Balcosna FC and the NewSkill FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Balcosna FC got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Lohitzun. In the 6thth minute of the game Milio Ponte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balcosna FC's Anacleto Acuña was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Evaristo Argi fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balcosna FC's protests and gave Evaristo Argi a yellow card for diving instead. Everardo Cao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Montae, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Balcosna FC's Rafael Patrido nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Everardo Cao made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Milio Ponte came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the NewSkill FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milio Ponte couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Saturnino Fonticoba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saturnino Fonticoba kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of Balcosna FC booed when NewSkill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ponciano Villar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Enrique Montae managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balcosna FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Montae was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Everardo Cao breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Balcosna FC's Rafael Patrido got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Everardo Cao was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Enrique Montae capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Enrique Montae really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Milio Ponte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Acuña having to interfere. Anacleto Acuña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milio Ponte, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. During the 47th minute of the match Alonzo Lohitzun completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alonzo Lohitzun a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of NewSkill FC booed when Balcosna FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Lohitzun didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Milio Ponte made a kick off. Anacleto Acuña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milio Ponte in the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Milio Ponte dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anacleto Acuña, 2-1. The supporters of NewSkill FC booed when Balcosna FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Argi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as NewSkill FC's Milio Ponte slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anacleto Acuña. That made the score 2-3 after 65 minutes of play. NewSkill FC's Isaio Mudarra was substituted for Saturnino Fonticoba. The supporters of NewSkill FC booed when Balcosna FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Chuse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pascual Silvestre was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Milio Ponte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anacleto Acuña. Balcosna FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Milio Ponte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. In the 84th minute, Rafael Patrido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balcosna FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. After a rather tough play, NewSkill FC's Juan Crespo got a free kick in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Balcosna FC's zone, Milio Ponte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anacleto Acuña came out of the goal and Milio Ponte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 98th match minute, Balcosna FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Montae to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Balcosna FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
