Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Erik Aronsson in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Everardo Cao prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sindo Colillas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erling Bergendahl having to interfere. Nazario Vilanova hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Lars Bruhn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Cao having to interfere. When Milio Ponte came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the NewSkill FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milio Ponte couldn't finish the play. Lars Bruhn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Everardo Cao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everardo Cao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malte Malm, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milio Ponte got free with Erling Bergendahl in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute of the match NewSkill FC got a corner. Åryd RK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pascual Silvestre ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 31st minute Jörgen Söderström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Cao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Lars Bruhn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Everardo Cao was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Erling Bergendahl came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by NewSkill FC's Milio Ponte. But to his dismay, Milio Ponte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 38 minutes into the match, Ofelio Marines had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erling Bergendahl. Åryd RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ofelio Marines was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. NewSkill FC's Everardo Cao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Bruhn in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Lars Bruhn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Everardo Cao made a huge save. Åryd RK were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after NewSkill FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Georg Melin took the corner. After taking down the ball on Åryd RK's corner Georg Melin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Everardo Cao quite easily take care of the ball. When Kjell Johansson fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Åryd RK's protests and gave Kjell Johansson a yellow card for diving instead. Pascual Silvestre took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erling Bergendahl. Åryd RK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, NewSkill FC's Ezequiel Rosario got a free kick in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malte Malm in the 74th minute of play forced NewSkill FC's goalkeeper Everardo Cao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th match minute, NewSkill FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ofelio Marines to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th match minute, Åryd RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Erik Aronsson to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, NewSkill FC's Arcadio Mas got a free kick in the 95th minute. Jörgen Söderström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Åryd RK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
