Manole Mocanu was a little too slow when Albino Claris got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 36th minute, Horia Ionaș made a precise shot to the right of Freddy Garaile. los pibes de union fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Freddy Garaile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horia Ionaș in the 40th minute of play. In the 40th minute Horia Ionaș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Garaile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 minutes of play, Steaua București's Horia Ionaș made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Freddy Garaile was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celso Sabino in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manole Mocanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Steaua București's Iosif Mitu in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horia Ionaș was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Albino Claris ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manole Mocanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. In the 55th minute Celso Sabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manole Mocanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steaua București's Manole Mocanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Claris in the 56th minute of play. When Erubiel Lizbeth came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the los pibes de union fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Lizbeth couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute, Toader Ipătescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Steaua București fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Manole Mocanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Claris in the 75th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Steaua București's Horia Ionaș slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Freddy Garaile. That made the score 2-6 after 78 minutes of play. If Horia Ionaș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Toader Ipătescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Steaua București's supporters rose to their feet, but Toader Ipătescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Garaile breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Freddy Garaile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horia Ionaș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th play minute Iosif Mitu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Freddy Garaile. 2-8. After a rather tough play, Steaua București's Sergiu Drăgoi got a free kick in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the match, Steaua București's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Sabino came free, but Manole Mocanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steaua București's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
