Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Þorgarður Arnljótsson started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Alpu's Bilge Kağan Kurumer got a free kick in the 5th minute. Mustafa Anıl Tamer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geir Mánason in the 9th minute of the match. Mustafa Anıl Tamer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geir Mánason went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Daríus Sigmundarson made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Cezmi Duman sent off a good shot on target. In the 14th minute Hüseyin Cahit Acar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daríus Sigmundarson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüseyin Cahit Acar in the 15th minute of play forced Elverk Vogum's goalkeeper Daríus Sigmundarson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Cezmi Duman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daríus Sigmundarson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cezmi Duman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 19 minute of play. When Bilge Kağan Kurumer fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alpu's protests and gave Bilge Kağan Kurumer a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Alpu's Bilge Kağan Kurumer got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Alpu's Mustafa Anıl Tamer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geir Mánason in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geir Mánason in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mustafa Anıl Tamer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Elverk Vogum's Reidar Magnússon got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Alpu's Arif Burak Talay tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Alpu's Mustafa Anıl Tamer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Þorgarður Arnljótsson in the 37th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Bilge Kağan Kurumer put in a rough tackle. In the 39th minute, one of Alpu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alpu. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aytek Sidal to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Elverk Vogum booed when Alpu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cezmi Duman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geir Mánason sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Alpu's Mustafa Anıl Tamer got control of the ball when Geir Mánason tried to sneak it across the goal line. Þorgarður Arnljótsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mustafa Anıl Tamer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Þorgarður Arnljótsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Daríus Sigmundarson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aytek Sidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Alpu's Mustafa Anıl Tamer got control of the ball when Geir Mánason tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jörvi Daðason's late challenge caught a Alpu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jörvi Daðason helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 played minutes Elverk Vogum got a freekick which was hit by Jörvi Daðason. Cezmi Duman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Geir Mánason ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mustafa Anıl Tamer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. A collision led to Elverk Vogum getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Reidar Magnússon hit a great ball. Erdi Haseki struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Daríus Sigmundarson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alpu. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Elverk Vogum had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
