When Sindo Colillas fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NewSkill FC's protests and gave Sindo Colillas a yellow card for diving instead. Sindo Colillas kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Everardo Cao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Bruckmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bart von Bassenheim charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bart von Bassenheim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Newcastle United's Bart von Bassenheim got a free kick in the 12th minute. NewSkill FC's Everardo Cao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Bruckmann in the 15th minute of play. Milio Ponte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Everardo Cao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Bruckmann in the 29th minute of play. Milio Ponte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Félix Göbl made a huge save. 43 minutes into the match, NewSkill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Bruckmann came free, but Everardo Cao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the NewSkill FC defense, Lars Bruckmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Everardo Cao. The NewSkill FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Everardo Cao should have stopped the shot. After the first half Newcastle United were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Milio Ponte to make the kick off. Everardo Cao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston von dem Bussche-Haddenhausen in the 53rd minute of play. If Daniel Feldmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Félix Göbl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milio Ponte in the 60th minute of the match. After 61 minutes of play, NewSkill FC's Milio Ponte made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Félix Göbl was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Feldmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bart von Bassenheim hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. NewSkill FC's Isaio Mudarra was substituted for Saturnino Fonticoba. After a rather tough play, Newcastle United's Bart von Bassenheim got a free kick in the 68th minute. Newcastle United's Félix Göbl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milio Ponte in the 69th minute of play. Milio Ponte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Félix Göbl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. After 72 played minutes NewSkill FC got a freekick which was hit by Isaio Mudarra. The supporters of Newcastle United booed when NewSkill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Rosario didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Lars Bruckmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newcastle United's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Bruckmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Everardo Cao breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Félix Göbl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milio Ponte in the 80th minute of play. Everardo Cao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Feldmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The supporters of NewSkill FC booed when Newcastle United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Bruckmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sindo Colillas was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. In the 96th match minute, NewSkill FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sindo Colillas to maneuver through the defense.
