Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Anacleto Acuña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iosif Mitu in the 3rd minute of the match. Cezar Ponor's late challenge caught a Balcosna FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cezar Ponor helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes Steaua București got a freekick which was hit by Cezar Ponor. Cezar Ponor got his second yellow card in the match during the 6th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Manole Mocanu came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Balcosna FC's Enrique Montae. But to his dismay, Enrique Montae quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Steaua București's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Argi came free, but Manole Mocanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iosif Mitu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anacleto Acuña firmly grabbed it by the left post. Steaua București's Iordache Arnăutu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lázaro Rosalio in the 16 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Balcosna FC's Evaristo Argi got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute, Rafael Patrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Enrique Montae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Balcosna FC booed when Steaua București was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horia Ionaș didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Sergiu Drăgoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steaua București's Manole Mocanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Argi in the 27th minute of play. After some careless play in the Balcosna FC defense, Toader Ipătescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anacleto Acuña. The Balcosna FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anacleto Acuña should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd match minute, Balcosna FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Javiar to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Steaua București's Iosif Mitu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anacleto Acuña. Anacleto Acuña yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 36th match minute, Balcosna FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Patrido to maneuver through the defense. Manole Mocanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Patrido in the 42nd minute of play. Iosif Mitu, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Iordache Arnăutu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enrique Montae made a kick off. Manole Mocanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Montae in the 52nd minute of the match. Iosif Mitu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Toader Ipătescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Javiar charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucio Javiar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Balcosna FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Lucio Javiar hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toader Ipătescu in the 73rd minute of play forced Balcosna FC's goalkeeper Anacleto Acuña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anacleto Acuña didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toader Ipătescu went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Anacleto Acuña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iosif Mitu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 81 played minutes Balcosna FC got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Patrido. Iordache Arnăutu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Acuña having to interfere. Evaristo Argi kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th minute of the match Steaua București got a corner. Balcosna FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Toader Ipătescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Patrido got free with Manole Mocanu in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes into the game, Evaristo Argi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manole Mocanu. Evaristo Argi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Steaua București had played much better football throughout.
