Åryd RK were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Ayvalik FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Georg Melin took the corner. Vacid Özaltuğ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malte Malm in the 20th minute of the match. Rıfkı Polat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erling Bergendahl having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Sjödin in the 28th minute of play forced Ayvalik FK's goalkeeper Vacid Özaltuğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erling Bergendahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rıfkı Polat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ayvalik FK booed when Åryd RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Malm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erling Bergendahl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rıfkı Polat's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Emin Özkaya managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ayvalik FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Emin Özkaya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erling Bergendahl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 37 minutes of play, Åryd RK's Lars Bruhn made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vacid Özaltuğ was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sait Şensoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erling Bergendahl having to interfere. Emin Özkaya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erling Bergendahl having to make a save. Vacid Özaltuğ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Erik Aronsson in the 45th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ayvalik FK's Sait Şensoy got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven-Erik Aronsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Vacid Özaltuğ came out of the goal and Jörgen Söderström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Lars Bruhn got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sven-Erik Aronsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Vacid Özaltuğ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
