Erling Bergendahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Bruckmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Lars Bruhn put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Félix Göbl. Malte Malm got his second yellow card in the match during the 32nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
