Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Khalefa Mandane kicked off to start the match. Sharf Al Hashash kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Nizar Al Khars got a throw-in 9 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Khalefa Mandane. The referee felt a red card was in order, 11 minutes into the game, when Bart von Bassenheim put in a rough tackle. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Newcastle United! Newcastle United:s Félix Göbl showed great skill when he stopped Khalefa Mandane:s penalty. 18 minutes into the game, Bodo Hantzsch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Newcastle United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dardanel FC the free kick. The supporters of Dardanel FC booed when Newcastle United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bodo Hantzsch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faleh Al Sohali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Bruckmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaston von dem Bussche-Haddenhausen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Faleh Al Sohali having to make a save. After 25 played minutes Dardanel FC got a freekick which was hit by Sharf Al Hashash. Félix Göbl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sajid Al Shaikh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sharf Al Hashash hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Lars Bruckmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faleh Al Sohali having to interfere. Lars Bruckmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faleh Al Sohali. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lars Bruckmann ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Dardanel FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Nizar Al Khars hit a great ball. If Khalefa Mandane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the game, Dardanel FC's Sajid Al Shaikh nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Félix Göbl made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Gaston von dem Bussche-Haddenhausen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faleh Al Sohali having to interfere. A collision led to Dardanel FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Anas Al Ramzi hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Dardanel FC's Sajid Al Shaikh got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Lars Bruckmann took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Faleh Al Sohali. Faleh Al Sohali dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Newcastle United's Lars Axmann got a free kick in the 56th minute. Khalefa Mandane could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Félix Göbl made a huge save. 67 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's goal looked a bit too open when Sajid Al Shaikh came free, but Félix Göbl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Newcastle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston von dem Bussche-Haddenhausen to maneuver through the defense. Lars Bruckmann struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Faleh Al Sohali didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newcastle United. Faleh Al Sohali stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Feldmann's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Lars Bruckmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Faleh Al Sohali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Bruckmann in the 83rd minute of play. Lars Bruckmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lars Bruckmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Faleh Al Sohali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Khalefa Mandane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Dardanel FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Newcastle United from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
