Karamürsel JK's Kuzey Metin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rıfkı Polat in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Karamürsel JK's zone, Rıfkı Polat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kuzey Metin came out of the goal and Rıfkı Polat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rıfkı Polat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Nusrettin Geylanlar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ayvalik FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Nusrettin Geylanlar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kuzey Metin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kuzey Metin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rıfkı Polat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Karamürsel JK's goal looked a bit too open when Yüce Safer came free, but Kuzey Metin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emin Özkaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

After 75 played minutes Karamürsel JK got a freekick which was hit by Aras İpek. Rıfkı Polat had several of the Karamürsel JK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 77 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Kuzey Metin as he didn't even see the shot coming. Sacit Zeyrek kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Rıfkı Polat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Kuzey Metin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şafak Akabe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuzey Metin having to interfere. The supporters of Ayvalik FK booed when Karamürsel JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umut Şahin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Halil İbrahim Oğuztan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cevahir Seyfeddin in the 87th minute of play. Kuzey Metin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rıfkı Polat in the 92nd minute of play. Rıfkı Polat might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kuzey Metin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rıfkı Polat ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match was over Ayvalik FK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Karamürsel JK throughout the match.
