Dardanel FC's Faleh Al Sohali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toader Ipătescu in the 2nd minute of play. In the 8th minute Sajid Al Shaikh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manole Mocanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dardanel FC were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Steaua București's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Khalefa Mandane took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sajid Al Shaikh in the 13th minute of play forced Steaua București's goalkeeper Manole Mocanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dardanel FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Steaua București the free kick. A collision led to Dardanel FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Rashed Al Mahmed hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dardanel FC's zone, Iosif Mitu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faleh Al Sohali came out of the goal and Iosif Mitu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a defensive mix-up in Dardanel FC's zone, Horia Ionaș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faleh Al Sohali came out of the goal and Horia Ionaș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Maitham Ghadhanfer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manole Mocanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 30 minutes into the game, Dardanel FC's Sajid Al Shaikh nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manole Mocanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Dardanel FC's Faleh Al Sohali proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Dardanel FC from getting a goal against them. In the 34th match minute, Dardanel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maitham Ghadhanfer to maneuver through the defense. Manole Mocanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Dardanel FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Faleh Al Sohali showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iosif Mitu in the 54th minute of the match. Faleh Al Sohali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iosif Mitu, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the game, Sharf Al Hashash was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Khalefa Mandane was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 77th minute. Dardanel FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Steaua București's goalkeeper Manole Mocanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Dardanel FC booed when Steaua București was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iosif Mitu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iosif Mitu in the 88th minute of play forced Dardanel FC's goalkeeper Faleh Al Sohali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iosif Mitu in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faleh Al Sohali saved Dardanel FC from getting behind. Dardanel FC's Faleh Al Sohali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horia Ionaș in the 90th minute of play. Faleh Al Sohali didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horia Ionaș went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-6 was the resulting score.
