Anacleto Acuña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sindo Colillas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anacleto Acuña made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Milio Ponte sent off a good shot on target. If Rafael Patrido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ofelio Marines hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match.

Sindo Colillas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Anacleto Acuña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Balcosna FC defense, Milio Ponte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anacleto Acuña. The Balcosna FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anacleto Acuña should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd minute Balcosna FC were awarded a corner. Jaime Chuse went to the cornerflag to take it. Milio Ponte scored 3-1 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anacleto Acuña, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Milio Ponte came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the NewSkill FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milio Ponte couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaio Mudarra during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. NewSkill FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
