Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rıfkı Polat started the match with the kick off. Emin Özkaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson having to interfere. 7 minutes into the game, Niklas Isaksson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sportklubben's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ayvalik FK the free kick. Niklas Isaksson kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sportklubben's Tor Göransson got a free kick in the 13th minute. Rıfkı Polat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ivar Fernström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sportklubben's Roy Wickander got a free kick in the 21st minute. Halil İbrahim Oğuztan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niklas Isaksson in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Ivar Fernström notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ayvalik FK's Halil İbrahim Oğuztan. Halil İbrahim Oğuztan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 28 minutes, Arif Saffet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ayvalik FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arif Saffet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tobias Karlsson hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Ayvalik FK's Rıfkı Polat dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. A collision led to Ayvalik FK getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Emin Özkaya hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emin Özkaya in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 44 minutes into the game, Eric Vennerkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sportklubben's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ayvalik FK the free kick. A collision led to Sportklubben getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Eric Vennerkvist hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the game, Rıfkı Polat recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson. Rıfkı Polat showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
Ayvalik FK's Arif Saffet got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Halil İbrahim Oğuztan made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Ivar Fernström sent off a good shot on target. Arif Saffet kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Sportklubben's goal looked a bit too open when Rıfkı Polat came free, but Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Karlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Rıfkı Polat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson having to interfere. Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rıfkı Polat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rıfkı Polat in the 68th minute of the match. The supporters of Sportklubben booed when Ayvalik FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faruk Okutman didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ivar Fernström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rıfkı Polat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nusrettin Geylanlar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson. Sportklubben's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the Sportklubben defense, Yüce Safer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson. The Sportklubben fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rıfkı Polat in the 89th minute of play forced Sportklubben's goalkeeper Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Sportklubben's goal looked a bit too open when Emin Özkaya came free, but Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sportklubben's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
