After 3 played minutes Newcastle United got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Traube. Félix Göbl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüseyin Cahit Acar in the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Jonas Zaugg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, Hüseyin Cahit Acar notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Newcastle United's Félix Göbl. Félix Göbl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Newcastle United's Florian Schmit got a free kick in the 12th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Cezmi Duman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alpu's supporters rose to their feet, but Cezmi Duman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Félix Göbl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mustafa Anıl Tamer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Bruckmann in the 18th minute of play. If Aytek Sidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lars Bruckmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mustafa Anıl Tamer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th minute Aytek Sidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Félix Göbl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's goal looked a bit too open when Erdi Haseki came free, but Félix Göbl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Lars Bruckmann put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mustafa Anıl Tamer. If Aytek Sidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 played minutes Newcastle United got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Zaugg. After a defensive mix-up in Alpu's zone, Daniel Feldmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Anıl Tamer came out of the goal and Daniel Feldmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lars Bruckmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Félix Göbl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aytek Sidal in the 46th minute of the match.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lars Bruckmann made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Lars Bruckmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Anıl Tamer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aytek Sidal in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Félix Göbl, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mustafa Anıl Tamer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Bruckmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Félix Göbl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüseyin Cahit Acar in the 64th minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Newcastle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Zaugg to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes in the game, Hüseyin Cahit Acar fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Félix Göbl having to interfere. Lars Bruckmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alpu's Mustafa Anıl Tamer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Bruckmann in the 86th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Newcastle United's Lars Bruckmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mustafa Anıl Tamer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Lars Bruckmann managed to get in a good position for a shot.
