A collision led to Balcosna FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Anacleto Acuña was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Niklas Isaksson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 35 minute of play. Eric Vennerkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eric Vennerkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sportklubben's Eric Vennerkvist got a free kick in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

60 minutes into the match, Balcosna FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Fernström came free, but Anacleto Acuña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Niklas Isaksson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anacleto Acuña. Balcosna FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niklas Isaksson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Eric Vennerkvist was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 72 played minutes Sportklubben got a freekick which was hit by Eric Vennerkvist. Ian Tingelholm charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ian Tingelholm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lucio Javiar got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Sportklubben's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivar Fernström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivar Fernström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sportklubben had won after a very even match.
