Freddy Garaile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Bruno Dominic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 8 minutes of play, Steaua București's Iosif Mitu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Freddy Garaile was left in no man's land by his defense there! Horia Ionaș scored 2-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Freddy Garaile, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Freddy Garaile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iosif Mitu in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute Celso Sabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manole Mocanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddy Garaile made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iosif Mitu in the 20th minute. With an all-out effort, Steaua București's Freddy Garaile threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Toader Ipătescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 23rd minute Horia Ionaș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Garaile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. los pibes de union fc's Freddy Garaile proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save los pibes de union fc from getting a goal against them. In the 30th minute Albino Claris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manole Mocanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manole Mocanu came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by los pibes de union fc's Albino Claris. But to his dismay, Albino Claris quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Albino Claris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Amador Etor kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Iosif Mitu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Iosif Mitu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Manole Mocanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Sabino in the 43rd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albino Claris to strike the kick off in the second half. Iosif Mitu took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Freddy Garaile. Freddy Garaile dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Albino Claris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manole Mocanu having to interfere. Iosif Mitu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, los pibes de union fc's Emiliano Baleren got a free kick in the 64th minute. los pibes de union fc's Freddy Garaile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iosif Mitu in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Steaua București's Iosif Mitu got a free kick in the 66th minute. Erubiel Lizbeth kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iordache Arnăutu in the 72nd minute of play forced los pibes de union fc's goalkeeper Freddy Garaile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, los pibes de union fc's goal looked a bit too open when Horia Ionaș came free, but Freddy Garaile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freddy Garaile took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iosif Mitu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the los pibes de union fc defense, Iordache Arnăutu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Freddy Garaile. The los pibes de union fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Freddy Garaile should have stopped the shot. 87 minutes into the game, Steaua București's Iosif Mitu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Freddy Garaile made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. After 91 minutes, Iordache Arnăutu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Steaua București and the los pibes de union fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st match minute, Steaua București was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iordache Arnăutu to maneuver through the defense. Albino Claris's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manole Mocanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horia Ionaș in the 94th minute of play forced los pibes de union fc's goalkeeper Freddy Garaile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 96 minutes of play, Steaua București's Horia Ionaș made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Freddy Garaile was left in no man's land by his defense there!
