Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Horia Ionaș took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the game, Vehdi Olgunay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ayvalik FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Steaua București the free kick. In the 4th match minute, Ayvalik FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vehdi Olgunay to maneuver through the defense. Halil İbrahim Oğuztan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iosif Mitu in the 6th minute of the match. Yüce Safer kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Horia Ionaș had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Halil İbrahim Oğuztan. Ayvalik FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horia Ionaș was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ayvalik FK's Halil İbrahim Oğuztan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horia Ionaș in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the match Steaua București got a corner. Ayvalik FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Toader Ipătescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Iordache Arnăutu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 21st minute, Yüce Safer fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Steaua București's Manole Mocanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emin Özkaya in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the match, Şafak Akabe got a very nice opportunity to score, but Manole Mocanu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Steaua București booed when Ayvalik FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arif Saffet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Halil İbrahim Oğuztan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horia Ionaș in the 30th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rıfkı Polat in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manole Mocanu saved Steaua București from getting behind. In the 34th match minute, Steaua București was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezar Ponor to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Nusrettin Geylanlar from long distance, 35 minutes into the match, got Manole Mocanu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to Ayvalik FK getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Arif Saffet hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rıfkı Polat was the one to do the kick off. Yüce Safer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ayvalik FK's Şafak Akabe suffered a sore thigh after 57 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Eduard Nițoi charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduard Nițoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute, Eduard Nițoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 played minutes, Ayvalik FK's Nusrettin Geylanlar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Manole Mocanu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ayvalik FK reached it. Halil İbrahim Oğuztan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iordache Arnăutu in the 61st minute. Iosif Mitu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Halil İbrahim Oğuztan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manole Mocanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rıfkı Polat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Horia Ionaș fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Steaua București's protests and gave Horia Ionaș a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ayvalik FK booed when Steaua București was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horia Ionaș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Halil İbrahim Oğuztan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horia Ionaș, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Emin Özkaya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toader Ipătescu struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Halil İbrahim Oğuztan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Steaua București. In the 84th minute, Vehdi Olgunay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Emin Özkaya came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Ayvalik FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emin Özkaya couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Ayvalik FK getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Rıfkı Polat hit a great ball.
