Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Niklas Isaksson started the match with the kick off. Kjell Johansson hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Lars Bruhn scored 1-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erling Bergendahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niklas Isaksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Erling Bergendahl came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Sportklubben's Niklas Isaksson. But to his dismay, Niklas Isaksson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. A collision led to Åryd RK getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Jörgen Söderström hit a great ball. In the 36th minute of the match Sportklubben got a corner. Åryd RK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ian Tingelholm ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Tobias Karlsson heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Ivar Fernström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erling Bergendahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niklas Isaksson in the 40th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Kjell Johansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivar Fernström in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erling Bergendahl saved Åryd RK from getting behind. Åryd RK's Lars Bruhn got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sven-Erik Aronsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Erik Aronsson made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Sportklubben's zone, Lars Bruhn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson came out of the goal and Lars Bruhn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 54 played minutes Sportklubben got a freekick which was hit by Eric Vennerkvist. After having played for 58 minutes, Ivar Fernström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportklubben's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivar Fernström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 59 minutes, Niklas Isaksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sven-Erik Aronsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lars Bruhn took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson. Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Ivar Fernström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Erling Bergendahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivar Fernström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Sportklubben getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ian Tingelholm hit a great ball. In the 97th minute Lars Bruhn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sportklubben eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
