Enrique Flores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson having to interfere. Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bahiano Santalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobias Karlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Bahiano Santalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Club Fuengirola's supporters rose to their feet, but Bahiano Santalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Guerrero couldn't finish the play. In the 45th match minute, Sportklubben was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Bank to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaston Guerrero to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Bahiano Santalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Club Fuengirola's supporters rose to their feet, but Bahiano Santalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After recieving a nice pass, Real Club Fuengirola's Alejandro Solano tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Henrik Bank kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Gaston Guerrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71stth minute of the game Gaston Guerrero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sportklubben's Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sportklubben's goalkeeper Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 76 played minutes Sportklubben got a freekick which was hit by Reine Gernberg. Roy Wickander hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute Gaston Guerrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bahiano Santalla's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bahiano Santalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson made a huge save. If Ivar Fernström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Real Club Fuengirola's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
