Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lars Bruckmann got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 6 minutes, Lars Bruckmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newcastle United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars Bruckmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Erfelek's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston von dem Bussche-Haddenhausen came free, but Aral Tanacan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Erfelek defense, Lars Bruckmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aral Tanacan. The Erfelek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aral Tanacan should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute Lars Bruckmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aral Tanacan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aral Tanacan came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Newcastle United's Lars Bruckmann. But to his dismay, Lars Bruckmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 17 minutes, Bart von Bassenheim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newcastle United and the Erfelek players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Erfelek booed when Newcastle United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bart von Bassenheim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Félix Göbl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oğuzalp Ocak in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Feldmann in the 22nd minute of play forced Erfelek's goalkeeper Aral Tanacan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Erfelek's zone, Lars Bruckmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aral Tanacan came out of the goal and Lars Bruckmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Newcastle United defense, Affan Zevahir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Félix Göbl. The Newcastle United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Félix Göbl should have stopped the shot. Félix Göbl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oğuzalp Ocak in the 29th minute of play. If Lars Bruckmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mehmet Oğuz Baltaş got free with Félix Göbl in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the game, Newcastle United's Lars Bruckmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aral Tanacan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Félix Göbl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oğuzalp Ocak in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Newcastle United's Lars Bruckmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aral Tanacan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.
Aral Tanacan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Feldmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 54th play minutes Lars Bruckmann shot 1-5, a short shot which went by Aral Tanacan and just under the crossbar into goal. Aral Tanacan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Bruckmann in the 57th minute of the match. Félix Göbl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Oğuz Baltaş in the 62nd minute of play. Gencer Bekdil charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gencer Bekdil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th match minute, Erfelek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gencer Bekdil to maneuver through the defense. Lars Bruckmann struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Aral Tanacan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newcastle United. Aral Tanacan was a little too slow when Daniel Feldmann got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 1-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Bruckmann in the 78th minute of play forced Erfelek's goalkeeper Aral Tanacan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Newcastle United's Lars Bruckmann ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aral Tanacan. Aral Tanacan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. The supporters of Newcastle United booed when Erfelek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Affan Zevahir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Félix Göbl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gencer Bekdil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Erfelek! After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Oğuzalp Ocak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Erfelek's supporters rose to their feet, but Oğuzalp Ocak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Félix Göbl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
