Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lars Bruckmann started the match with the kick off. Sportklubben's Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Bruckmann in the 5th minute of play. Daniel Feldmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9thth minute of the game Lars Bruckmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sportklubben's Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Reine Gernberg threw the ball into play from the sideline. Newcastle United's Lars Axmann quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Lars Bruckmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Lars Bruckmann kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Bruckmann in the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sportklubben's Ivar Fernström got a free kick in the 26th minute. Lars Bruckmann struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newcastle United. Lars Bruckmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 33 minutes, Daniel Feldmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newcastle United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Feldmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the last second Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson throw himself and got hold of the ball when Lars Bruckmann in the 38thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Lars Bruckmann struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newcastle United. 43 minutes into the game, Tor Göransson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Newcastle United's Lars Axmann quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Félix Göbl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niklas Isaksson in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Bruckmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. When Newcastle United's Gaston von dem Bussche-Haddenhausen in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sportklubben's goalie prevented a goal. If Lars Bruckmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Feldmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sportklubben's zone, Bodo Hantzsch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson came out of the goal and Bodo Hantzsch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Lars Bruckmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bodo Hantzsch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Lars Bruckmann notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Sportklubben's Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson. Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lars Bruckmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Bengt-Rune Gunnarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the game, Reine Gernberg threw the ball into play from the sideline.
