In the 15th minute, Robert Ununger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Los once leones Ourense's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Linkhorst came free, but Albano Unzueta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Los once leones Ourense's Pablo-Enrique Alabern slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Patrick Armstrong. That made the score 3-0 after 40 minutes of play. Patrick Armstrong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Calvo in the 43rd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nereo Cacheres was the one to do the kick off. Thorbjörn Olerius's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Albano Unzueta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Adrian Rosario kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match.
