An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovanildo Luis in the 3rd minute of play forced Ogro F.C.'s goalkeeper Alysson Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the game, Patrick Matorin threw the ball into play from the sideline. Bernardino Llorenc kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Cavalera got free with Haji Sarap in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Cavalera in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haji Sarap saved Joinville City - FSCMZ from getting behind. Alysson Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanildo Luis, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 17 minutes Ogro F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Henrique Camargo who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Joinville City - FSCMZ's corner Tomé Neto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alysson Rezende quite easily take care of the ball. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ogro F.C.'s goalkeeper Alysson Rezende, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Henrique Camargo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alysson Rezende in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Joinville City - FSCMZ's Geovanildo Luis in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ogro F.C.'s goalkeeper Alysson Rezende, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Drew Zaelani made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ogro F.C.'s Tanek Poreda. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geovanildo Luis in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alysson Rezende saved Ogro F.C. from getting behind. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Geovanildo Luis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alysson Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovanildo Luis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Joinville City - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Cavalera came free, but Haji Sarap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Haji Sarap played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Cavalera in the 61st minute of play. In the 61st minute, Igor Cavalera made a precise shot to the right of Haji Sarap. Joinville City - FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Joinville City - FSCMZ made a substitution. George Pogba replaced João Francisco Arce. Thanks to some nice moves Adhemar Santos could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Alysson Rezende however easily saved by the left post. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Adhemar Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alysson Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Allbäck in the 72nd minute of play. Alysson Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Allbäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Igor Cavalera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alysson Rezende came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Joinville City - FSCMZ's Marcus Allbäck. But to his dismay, Marcus Allbäck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 92 minutes into the match, Alex Van Halen notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Joinville City - FSCMZ's Haji Sarap. Haji Sarap was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Haji Sarap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mike Mangini in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Joinville City - FSCMZ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ogro F.C..
