The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the LA GUARDIA ALBI ROJA SUR defense, Lukas Stuijckens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Meder Alvisto. The LA GUARDIA ALBI ROJA SUR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Meder Alvisto should have stopped the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in LA GUARDIA ALBI ROJA SUR fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Ritchie Kerkhofs shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Robbin van Persie took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Meder Alvisto to make any attempt to save it. Meder Alvisto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbin van Persie in the 16th minute of play. The LA GUARDIA ALBI ROJA SUR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Meder Alvisto should have stopped the shot. When Teodoro Massey fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA GUARDIA ALBI ROJA SUR's protests and gave Teodoro Massey a yellow card for diving instead. Teodoro Massey kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Lennert Van der Vloedt scored 4-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Meder Alvisto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Meder Alvisto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robbin van Persie in the 33rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lukas Stuijckens got free with Meder Alvisto in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Meder Alvisto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lukas Stuijckens in the 37th minute. RWDM's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lennert Van der Vloedt in the 39th minute. Ritchie Kerkhofs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meder Alvisto having to interfere. Vicemte Cañaveral hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Meder Alvisto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbin van Persie in the 46th minute of play. Meder Alvisto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lukas Stuijckens in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lukas Stuijckens in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Meder Alvisto saved LA GUARDIA ALBI ROJA SUR from getting behind. In the 55th minute, Robbin van Persie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Meder Alvisto was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 60th minute, Robbin van Persie made a precise shot to the right of Meder Alvisto. LA GUARDIA ALBI ROJA SUR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Robbin van Persie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Meder Alvisto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robbin van Persie went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Meder Alvisto came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by RWDM's Ritchie Kerkhofs. But to his dismay, Ritchie Kerkhofs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. The supporters of RWDM booed when LA GUARDIA ALBI ROJA SUR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Massey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bass Boffin hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 82 minutes of play, RWDM's Lukas Stuijckens made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Meder Alvisto was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th minute, Lukas Stuijckens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Meder Alvisto was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. Meder Alvisto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukas Stuijckens, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Sylvan Van der Willeghem took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Meder Alvisto. Meder Alvisto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0. Timoteo Vital received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Tony Vandenberge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that RWDM were the better team. RWDM's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
