Cuervos de Nuevo Toledo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edinson Haaland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Hilario Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinson Haaland in the 15th minute of play. Alvaro Ponce kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Edinson Haaland took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hilario Cruz. Hilario Cruz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 25th minute of the match Chinese CJ Youth Academy got a corner. Cuervos de Nuevo Toledo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roni Ronaldinho ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Bai Feng Xiang advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-4 in the 25th minute. Hilario Cruz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edinson Haaland went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Edinson Haaland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Roni Ronaldinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Cruz having to interfere. Aaron Luzaide kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Su Jian Jie charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Su Jian Jie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cuervos de Nuevo Toledo booed when Chinese CJ Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Su Jian Jie didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Cuervos de Nuevo Toledo getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Alvaro Ponce hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Edinson Haaland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chinese CJ Youth Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bartolo Oalo was the one to do the kick off. Edinson Haaland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Hilario Cruz made a huge save. 58 minutes into the game, Alvaro Ponce threw the ball into play from the sideline. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Bai Feng Xiang quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Hilario Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lu Zhan Jian, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Alvaro Ponce hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Edinson Haaland might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hilario Cruz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edinson Haaland ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edinson Haaland in the 69th minute of play forced Cuervos de Nuevo Toledo's goalkeeper Hilario Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Cuervos de Nuevo Toledo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chinese CJ Youth Academy:s goal. Roni Ronaldinho walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Yuan Ting Chao was substituted for Su Jian Jie. 76 minutes into the match, Cuervos de Nuevo Toledo's goal looked a bit too open when Günther Doty came free, but Hilario Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Günther Doty in the 79th minute of play forced Cuervos de Nuevo Toledo's goalkeeper Hilario Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Cuervos de Nuevo Toledo's goal looked a bit too open when Günther Doty came free, but Hilario Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Günther Doty managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Günther Doty was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilario Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 100 minutes into the game, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Günther Doty nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hilario Cruz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Chinese CJ Youth Academy played a much better game than Cuervos de Nuevo Toledo and deserved their victory. The Cuervos de Nuevo Toledo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
