Bart von Bassenheim kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Albert Einstein took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Félix Göbl. Félix Göbl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Félix Göbl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yana Brolin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Newcastle United's Félix Göbl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Einstein in the 22nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yana Brolin got free with Félix Göbl in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matthew McKail showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Feldmann in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Rodion Cămătaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Félix Göbl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Yana Brolin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Félix Göbl. Yana Brolin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Chelsea Headhunters's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 38th minute of the game, when Yana Brolin after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Newcastle United's goal. Yana Brolin was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. In the 41st minute Rodion Cămătaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Félix Göbl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Félix Göbl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Einstein, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The wind increased when Albert Einstein made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Newcastle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Zaugg to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Chelsea Headhunters's Honorato Abancens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Félix Göbl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Félix Göbl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Einstein, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. If Albert Einstein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chelsea Headhunters made a substitution. Gonzalo Otsoko replaced Yana Brolin. In the 80th minute, Rodion Cămătaru made a precise shot to the right of Félix Göbl. Newcastle United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Otsoko in the 83rd minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Félix Göbl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Honorato Abancens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Félix Göbl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chelsea Headhunters's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
