Mateo Llorienzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Pereira in the 3rd minute of the match. Albino Dimas kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Mateo Llorienzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Pereira in the 8th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Pereira came free, but Mateo Llorienzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateo Llorienzo made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Berker Başhekim sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Anaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darwin Núñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Lobo Guará's goal looked a bit too open when Darwin Núñez came free, but Daniel Anaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 minutes Merengue FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nando Barbosa who took care of the corner kick. Lobo Guará's Nando Barbosa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mateo Llorienzo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice moves Ezequiel Pereira could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Mateo Llorienzo however easily saved by the left post. After 41 minutes of play, Lobo Guará's Ezequiel Pereira made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateo Llorienzo was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ezequiel Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The Lobo Guará fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Lobo Guará's Ezequiel Pereira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Lobo Guará booed when Merengue FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Frances didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lobo Guará made a substitution. Aykut Adar replaced Willian Caca-Rato. Lobo Guará's Ciro de Moraes was substituted for Ezequiel Pereira. In the 59th minute, Vlad Imperiale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciro de Moraes took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateo Llorienzo. Mateo Llorienzo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Mateo Llorienzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Merengue FC's Mateo Llorienzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berker Başhekim in the 70th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Roland Banaszak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merengue FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Banaszak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Anaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciro de Moraes took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateo Llorienzo. Mateo Llorienzo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Mateo Llorienzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciro de Moraes took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateo Llorienzo. Mateo Llorienzo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 86th match minute, Lobo Guará was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sancar Gazel to maneuver through the defense. If Ciro de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
