Mariusz Zdeb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Angel Alvarenga was slow to take the kick. During this time GuateFortín's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Angel Alvarenga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mariusz Zdeb quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timmy Friberger in the 12th minute of the match. Mariusz Zdeb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Edvin Jansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Rutger Jelm made a precise shot to the right of Nery Pumpido. GuateFortín's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The audience was convinced that Sven-Edvin Jansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mariusz Zdeb was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Björkö BK's Timmy Friberger managed to work through GuateFortín's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Timmy Friberger dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The audience was convinced that Timmy Friberger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nery Pumpido was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Timmy Friberger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mariusz Zdeb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zico Zellier, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. When GuateFortín's Zico Zellier in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mariusz Zdeb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thierry Henry in the 68th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariusz Zdeb prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute, Roberto Trotta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timmy Friberger struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Nery Pumpido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Björkö BK. After 76 minutes, Sven-Edvin Jansson made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Björkö BK's Mariusz Zdeb tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 81 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elias Strömqvist. When GuateFortín's William Villanueva in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Björkö BK's goalie prevented a goal. Roberto Trotta was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 85 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Björkö BK's Timmy Friberger ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nery Pumpido. Nery Pumpido yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Björkö BK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GuateFortín.
