The referee ignored FC LongeR's protests and gave Napoleon Borkowski a yellow card for diving instead. Napoleon Borkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. If Boleslaw Pstrongowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Russówek booed when FC LongeR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Czeslaw Czeszyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waldemar Zjawin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrzej Zawaski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wojciech Penkalski in the 22nd minute of play forced FC LongeR's goalkeeper Waldemar Zjawin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldemar Zjawin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boleslaw Pstrongowski in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Russówek's zone, Robert Robak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bogdan Cerocki came out of the goal and Robert Robak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Przemyslaw Cempa hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, FC LongeR's goalkeeper Waldemar Zjawin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerzy Pliszka. If Jerzy Pliszka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Robert Robak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bogdan Cerocki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Robert Robak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Cerocki having to interfere. Boleslaw Pstrongowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Waldemar Zjawin made a huge save. In the 44th minute of the match, Jerzy Pliszka got a very nice opportunity to score, but Waldemar Zjawin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 46 minutes into the game, Jerzy Pliszka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Waldemar Zjawin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert Robak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Boleslaw Pstrongowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Zjawin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute Wojciech Penkalski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Zjawin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, FC LongeR's goal looked a bit too open when Wojciech Penkalski came free, but Waldemar Zjawin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th match minute, FC LongeR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wit Gaszynski to maneuver through the defense. Andrzej Zawaski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldemar Zjawin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wojciech Penkalski in the 89th minute of play forced FC LongeR's goalkeeper Waldemar Zjawin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Boleslaw Pstrongowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Russówek's supporters rose to their feet, but Boleslaw Pstrongowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldemar Zjawin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Russówek were the better team. Russówek's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
