The audience thought a goal was coming when Kacper Skaradowski got free with Edgar Smuskiewicz in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sylwester Golaszewski made a kick off. KSF Racovia Częstochowa's Leszek Grocholski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sylwester Golaszewski in the 60th minute of play. Edgar Smuskiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Wallach in the 62nd minute of play. Leszek Grocholski made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Sylwester Golaszewski sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute Robert Wallach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Smuskiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melquiades Rolado hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Hahay's Damian Miodek was substituted for Marek Kaider.
