An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Wnukowski in the 35th minute of play forced KS LEW Chorzów's goalkeeper Wit Kasperowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Wieslaw Maziarski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS LEW Chorzów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Zachariasz Niedbalski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barnaba Budacz having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KS LEW Chorzów fans cheered their team off the field, for while 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
