Alper Benlis short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Wit Kasperowicz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Raimundo Porfiro kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Alper Benli took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Wit Kasperowicz to make any attempt to save it. Alper Benli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Wit Kasperowicz made a huge save. In the 22nd minute, Mete Tavukcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind KS LEW Chorzów's goalkeeper Wit Kasperowicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wit Kasperowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Juskowiak in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrzej Juskowiak in the 42nd minute of play forced KS LEW Chorzów's goalkeeper Wit Kasperowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, KS LEW Chorzów's Wieslaw Maziarski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Constantin Mudura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrzej Juskowiak to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, WZG Sandomierz's Andrzej Juskowiak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wit Kasperowicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 58th minute, Ludomir Raszek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wit Kasperowicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrzej Juskowiak's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. The supporters of KS LEW Chorzów booed when WZG Sandomierz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariusz Basaik didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Andrzej Juskowiak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The WZG Sandomierz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. WZG Sandomierz's Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink was substituted for Andrzej Juskowiak. Mikolaj Budzynski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Constantin Mudura made a huge save. Wit Kasperowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariusz Basaik in the 80th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alper Benli in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wit Kasperowicz saved KS LEW Chorzów from getting behind. Wit Kasperowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink in the 84th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, KS LEW Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink came free, but Wit Kasperowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that WZG Sandomierz were the better team. WZG Sandomierz's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
