Mikolaj Budzynski started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes KANONIERZY got a freekick which was hit by Ziemowit Wiatrak. Mikolaj Budzynski might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norbert Kalemba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mikolaj Budzynski ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of KANONIERZY booed when KS LEW Chorzów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juliusz Cuber didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Mikolaj Budzynski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Norbert Kalemba. That made the score 1-1 in the 13 minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, KANONIERZY's goalkeeper Norbert Kalemba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wieslaw Maziarski. In the 21st minute, Zachariasz Niedbalski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Norbert Kalemba was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 23 minutes into the match, KANONIERZY's Olaf Przewozik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wit Kasperowicz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With 28 minutes on the clock, Juliusz Cuber commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 28 minutes into the game, one of KS LEW Chorzów:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave KANONIERZY a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Olaf Przewozik, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of KS LEW Chorzów's Wit Kasperowicz. 2-2. Norbert Kalemba made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Wieslaw Maziarski sent off a good shot on target. Olaf Przewozik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zachariasz Niedbalski kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olaf Przewozik to make the kick off. Wit Kasperowicz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lukasz Oryl showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 52 minute of play. KANONIERZY's Norbert Kalemba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wieslaw Maziarski in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to KANONIERZY getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Czeslaw Kasprzykowski hit a great ball. After 75 played minutes KS LEW Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Zachariasz Niedbalski. With a little luck, KS LEW Chorzów's Wit Kasperowicz got control of the ball when Lukasz Oryl tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 83 played minutes KANONIERZY got a freekick which was hit by Czeslaw Kasprzykowski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikolaj Budzynski in the 84th minute of play forced KANONIERZY's goalkeeper Norbert Kalemba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olaf Przewozik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wit Kasperowicz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Gerhard Vejs kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. KANONIERZY's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
