After 24 minutes of play, WZG Sandomierz's Alper Benli made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petr Čech was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edgar Snaza kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Andrzej Juskowiak might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petr Čech. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrzej Juskowiak ran back to his position shaking his head. But to his dismay, Benedykt Pisarczyk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. WZG Sandomierz's Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink was substituted for Andrzej Juskowiak. WZG Sandomierz's Constantin Mudura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedykt Pisarczyk in the 94th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. WZG Sandomierz walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
