After a defensive mix-up in RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's zone, Ulryk Grocholski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olgierd Borcz came out of the goal and Ulryk Grocholski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KS LEW Chorzów's Wit Kasperowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szymon Beninda in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of KS LEW Chorzów booed when RW AHLEN-KNURÓW was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grzegorz Kicia didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wieslaw Maziarski got free with Olgierd Borcz in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute, Wieslaw Maziarski made a precise shot to the right of Olgierd Borcz. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-12. The KS LEW Chorzów supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KS LEW Chorzów would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
