When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Tomasz Sobania sped through GKS Milenium's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Artur Brack. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Tasso in the 9th minute of play forced Soczewki Gliwice's goalkeeper Damazy Kensicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Soczewki Gliwice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomasz Sobania was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vito Tasso to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Georges-Philippe Coussement shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damazy Kensicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Georges-Philippe Coussement made a great header on GKS Milenium's corner, it was just that Soczewki Gliwice's Damazy Kensicki managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomasz Sobania in the 82nd minute of play forced GKS Milenium's goalkeeper Artur Brack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomasz Sobania might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Artur Brack. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. A collision led to Soczewki Gliwice getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Tomasz Sobania hit a great ball.
