Filipe Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Kolacki in the 20th minute of play. After some careless play in the Lech Max defense, Paolo Cucao kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gwidon Dubilas. The Lech Max fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gwidon Dubilas should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute Paolo Cucao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwidon Dubilas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
