Paulino Estebano came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Kazimierz Gaszynski. But to his dismay, Kazimierz Gaszynski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Kajetan Dec made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Juliusz Traczewski sent off a good shot on target. Paulino Estebano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ömer Halisdemir went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Mack Oreilly blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulino Estebano having to make a save. Kajetan Dec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbigniew Lech in the 32nd minute of play. After taking down the ball on Zawisza Bydgoszcz's corner Mack Oreilly fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paulino Estebano quite easily take care of the ball. In the 39th minute Sebastian Klawke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Estebano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Ömer Halisdemir nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulino Estebano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3.

The wind increased when Juliusz Traczewski made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match Niemierich RK 06 got a corner. Paulino Estebano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mack Oreilly, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. A throw-in in the 56th minute of the game was made by Julian Wallach with Zbigniew Lech as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 60 minutes into the match, Niemierich RK 06's goalkeeper Paulino Estebano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ömer Halisdemir. If Juliusz Traczewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kajetan Dec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliusz Traczewski in the 61st minute of play. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Kajetan Dec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliusz Traczewski in the 64th minute of play. Paulino Estebano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ömer Halisdemir in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goal looked a bit too open when Juliusz Traczewski came free, but Kajetan Dec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Marquez Padolles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Dec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lucjan Bochinski fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zawisza Bydgoszcz's protests and gave Lucjan Bochinski a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes Zawisza Bydgoszcz got a freekick which was hit by Lucjan Bochinski. After a defensive mix-up in Zawisza Bydgoszcz's zone, Juliusz Traczewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kajetan Dec came out of the goal and Juliusz Traczewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulino Estebano made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Ömer Halisdemir sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute of the game Juliusz Traczewski made a throw-in which Fryderyk Gendolla played forward. After 94 minutes, Zbigniew Lech mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Niemierich RK 06 and the Zawisza Bydgoszcz players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Mack Oreilly couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Niemierich RK 06. The Zawisza Bydgoszcz supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Zawisza Bydgoszcz would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
