In the 3rd minute Romão Mourato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roneros F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cordero Aberasturi in the 5th minute. The corner ended in Cordero Aberasturi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but A.C. Patagonia's Peter Schmeichel did a great save. The supporters of A.C. Patagonia booed when Roneros F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ortiz Apellaniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Schmeichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romão Mourato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cordero Aberasturi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Peter Schmeichel made a huge save. In the 18th minute, Romão Mourato made a precise shot to the right of Peter Schmeichel. A.C. Patagonia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Dariusz Wos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute, Romão Mourato ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter Schmeichel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Romão Mourato struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Peter Schmeichel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roneros F.C.. The audience was convinced that Romão Mourato's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter Schmeichel was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. 32 minutes into the match, Roneros F.C.'s Romão Mourato sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter Schmeichel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peter Schmeichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romão Mourato, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. A.C. Peter Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiang Sha in the 94th minute of the match. Peter Schmeichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiang Sha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A.C. Patagonia's Peter Schmeichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ortiz Apellaniz in the 95th minute of play.

A.C. Patagonia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
