Valentin Ospetsu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jago Štriker's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Jago Štriker who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Valentin Ospetsu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gracie Barra were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Barrio Norte FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Thiago Silvan took the corner. Gracie Barra's Thiago Silvan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Valentin Ospetsu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Gracie Barra booed when Barrio Norte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Frutos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Ospetsu having to interfere. Valentin Ospetsu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 32 minutes into the match, Barrio Norte FC's goalkeeper Valentin Ospetsu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Saldanha. Valentin Ospetsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Saldanha in the 38th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Saldanha got free with Valentin Ospetsu in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Osvaldo Frutos hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Osvaldo Frutos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Saldanha struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Valentin Ospetsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gracie Barra. 59 minutes into the match, Barrio Norte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jago Štriker came free, but Valentin Ospetsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ofelio Galván could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Falcão Cunha made a huge save. Valentin Ospetsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo de Queirós in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Gracie Barra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamey Hankins to maneuver through the defense. The corner led to Gracie Barra's Murphey Shipman getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Barrio Norte FC's Valentin Ospetsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ke Feng Zhen in the 94th minute of play.
