The shot was a little too simple and Rodrigo Massó could save by the left post. 8 minutes into the match, PLUMIN's goalkeeper Rodrigo Massó had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso Goicoechea. Simon Ferrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PLUMIN's Delmiro Mel got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute of the match Club Atlético Atlanta got a corner. PLUMIN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ciro Ferdinand ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Ferrer in the 27th minute of play. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Ferrer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eustaquio Jaizki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Delmiro Mel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of PLUMIN booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Erroman didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Ferrer in the 39th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmiro Mel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pankracy Glogowski having to interfere. Eustaquio Jaizki was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 46th minute. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Anselmo Nevada didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 46th minute. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cirilo Salvino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Massó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Jaizki in the 53rd minute of the match. After 55 minutes PLUMIN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ciro Ferdinand who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Club Atlético Atlanta's corner Ciro Ferdinand fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rodrigo Massó quite easily take care of the ball. Pankracy Glogowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cirilo Salvino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 57 minute of play. In the 59th minute, Cirilo Salvino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pankracy Glogowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Rodrigo Massó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Goicoechea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodrigo Massó came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Atlanta's Anselmo Nevada. But to his dismay, Anselmo Nevada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After having played for 67 minutes, Anselmo Nevada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Nevada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of PLUMIN booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Nevada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pankracy Glogowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Simon Ferrer in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Salvino in the 77th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to PLUMIN getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Simon Ferrer hit a great ball. Rodrigo Massó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Nevada, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. If Simon Ferrer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Alfonso Goicoechea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Goicoechea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Massó breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, PLUMIN's Pankracy Glogowski threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cirilo Salvino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 87th minute Eustaquio Jaizki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Massó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Abreu. In the 91st minute, Simon Ferrer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cirilo Salvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pankracy Glogowski having to interfere. The PLUMIN players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Club Atlético Atlanta from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
