Rodrigo Massó was a little too slow when Edinson Haaland got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 2-0. The PLUMIN fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when PLUMIN's Simon Ferrer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 27 minutes into the match, PLUMIN's goalkeeper Rodrigo Massó had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edinson Haaland. 32 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Ferrer came free, but Frank Frankfurter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edinson Haaland in the 37th minute of play forced PLUMIN's goalkeeper Rodrigo Massó to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Massó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edinson Haaland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerardo Berto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Frank Frankfurter. In the 45thth minute of the game Edinson Haaland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PLUMIN's Rodrigo Massó was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frank Frankfurter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Mel in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

PLUMIN made a substitution. Cirilo Salvino replaced Delmiro Mel. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cirilo Salvino was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, PLUMIN's Cirilo Salvino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. If Edinson Haaland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rodrigo Massó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edinson Haaland, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute Cirilo Salvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Frankfurter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Chinese CJ Youth Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. PLUMIN's Rodrigo Massó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edinson Haaland in the 76th minute of play. Rodrigo Massó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinson Haaland in the 77th minute of the match. Roni Ronaldinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodrigo Massó. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chinese CJ Youth Academy fans cheered their team off the field, for while PLUMIN had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
