Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manuel Pantiș started the match with the kick off. Cristian Voican showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Pantiș in the 6th minute of the match. When FC BRADUL -MM-'s Manuel Pantiș in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Romania's goalie prevented a goal. Marius Niculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciprian Caba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vali Papaiani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Cristian Voican tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC BRADUL -MM-'s Marius Niculescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save FC BRADUL -MM- from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute Virgil Gane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marius Niculescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rdth minute of the game Manuel Pantiș who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Romania's Cristian Voican was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 27 played minutes FC BRADUL -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Costică Hârșu. U21 Romania's Cristian Voican played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Pantiș in the 30th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciprian Caba got free with Marius Niculescu in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the U21 Romania defense, Edu Ramos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristian Voican. The U21 Romania fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristian Voican should have stopped the shot. Cristian Voican made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu Ramos in the 41st minute of play. FC BRADUL -MM-'s Marius Niculescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save FC BRADUL -MM- from getting a goal against them.

In the 61st minute, Manuel Pantiș got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 70 minutes FC BRADUL -MM-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sorin Dragușin who took care of the corner kick. U21 Romania's Sorin Dragușin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marius Niculescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorin Cârțan in the 74th minute of play forced U21 Romania's goalkeeper Cristian Voican to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in U21 Romania's zone, Edu Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Voican came out of the goal and Edu Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. U21 Romania's Cristian Voican proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save U21 Romania from getting a goal against them. FC BRADUL -MM- were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after U21 Romania's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Laurențiu Vlădoiu took the corner. In the 86th minute, Costel Pacuraru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC BRADUL -MM- eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
