The audience was convinced that Naw Kean's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atro Kiviharju was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Greid Tinsmith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jari Alenius in the 10th minute of play. In the 11thth minute of the game Taisto Pentsinen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wales's Greid Tinsmith was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Naw Kean's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atro Kiviharju read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Atro Kiviharju made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naw Kean in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute Naw Kean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atro Kiviharju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atro Kiviharju was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alun Harmon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Aarre Rautee notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Wales's Greid Tinsmith. Greid Tinsmith was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 27th minute, Taavetti Vihervä hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atro Kiviharju dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 43rdth minute of the game Naw Kean who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Finland's Atro Kiviharju was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Finland's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anynnawg Hunt was slow to take the kick. During this time Wales's players had a chance to rest. After 47 played minutes Finland got a freekick which was hit by Taavetti Vihervä. Wales's Trent Larkin was substituted for Wmffre Kidder. Taavetti Vihervä hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jari Alenius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Naw Kean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atro Kiviharju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Naw Kean ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atro Kiviharju was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Emrys Hannah kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 63 minutes, Naw Kean made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. Finland's Atro Kiviharju tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Wales's Syvwlch Lloyd was substituted for Naw Kean. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Syvwlch Lloyd in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atro Kiviharju prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Finland's goalkeeper Atro Kiviharju, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Atro Kiviharju made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Syvwlch Lloyd in the 81st minute of play. Atro Kiviharju took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Syvwlch Lloyd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taisto Pentsinen in the 92nd minute of play forced Wales's goalkeeper Greid Tinsmith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Syvwlch Lloyd ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atro Kiviharju was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. Finland's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
