The crowd rose to their feet as Julian Kosakowski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Peter Schmeichel. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. 8 minutes into the game, Leoncio Huerta threw the ball into play from the sideline. A.C. Patagonia's Ludwig Wassenius quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 10th minute, ORIZABA F.C.'s Cyprian Oliszewski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Peter Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyprian Oliszewski in the 12th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, A.C. Patagonia's goal looked a bit too open when Cyprian Oliszewski came free, but Peter Schmeichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to ORIZABA F.C. getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Fausto Beattie hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, A.C. Patagonia's goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Kosakowski. After 15 played minutes A.C. Patagonia got a freekick which was hit by Szymon Jaszyna. Cyprian Oliszewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter Schmeichel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Leoncio Huerta made in the 25th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gică Bogdan however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Kosakowski in the 26th minute of play forced A.C. Patagonia's goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Cyprian Oliszewski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Peter Schmeichel. Cyprian Oliszewski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 39 minutes into the game, Jaroslaw Maurycy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Peter Schmeichel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Amílton Loyola's late challenge caught a A.C. Patagonia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amílton Loyola helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, ORIZABA F.C.'s Amílton Loyola got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute of the match Demy Vennegoor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oliver Kan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 45th minute Cyprian Oliszewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.C. Patagonia's Peter Schmeichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyprian Oliszewski in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cyprian Oliszewski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oliver Kan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dariusz Wos in the 52nd minute. ORIZABA F.C.'s attentive Fausto Beattie managed to snatch the ball when Demy Vennegoor made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dariusz Wos in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oliver Kan saved ORIZABA F.C. from getting behind. ORIZABA F.C.'s Fausto Beattie managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Demy Vennegoor in the 59 minute of the game. Oliver Kan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustav Siöman in the 61st minute of play. Aldo Di Carlo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Oliver Kan made a huge save. 67 minutes into the match, A.C. Patagonia's goal looked a bit too open when Cyprian Oliszewski came free, but Peter Schmeichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oliver Kan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustav Siöman in the 68th minute of the match. Julian Kosakowski kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Edelmiro Ramone kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Sylwester Sroka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Oliver Kan made a huge save. Oliver Kan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustav Siöman in the 81st minute of play. Gustav Siöman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Oliver Kan came out and tried to block the shot, but Gustav Siöman slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind ORIZABA F.C.'s goalkeeper Oliver Kan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 91st minute Jaroslaw Maurycy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Jaroslaw Maurycy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peter Schmeichel was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. Demy Vennegoor's late challenge caught a ORIZABA F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Demy Vennegoor helped the player get up and apologised.

The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ORIZABA F.C. had won after a very even match.
