Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Boleslaw Zielinski made the kick off in the second half. George Mbappè hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boleslaw Zielinski got free with George Buffon in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Boleslaw Zielinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. George Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boleslaw Zielinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The corner led Lyons's Marcos Berasko to fire away a dangerous shot which George Buffon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 91st minute, George Messi made a precise shot to the right of Luisito Quinten. Lyons's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. If Dariusz Roano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lyons eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
