The Underdogs's Jan Wessel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Alfonso in the 8th minute of play. Jan Wessel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Jerold in the 11th minute of the match. Folkert Vos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 21st minute. Dolf Schoonderwoerd struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Folkert Vos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Underdogs. Folkert Vos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 26th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dolf Schoonderwoerd was the one to do the kick off. Folkert Vos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Folkert Vos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Masters's goalkeeper Folkert Vos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in The Underdogs's zone, Franco Alfonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Wessel came out of the goal and Franco Alfonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of The Underdogs booed when The Masters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Jerold didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Dolf Schoonderwoerd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Underdogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dolf Schoonderwoerd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dolf Schoonderwoerd's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Folkert Vos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Folkert Vos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piearres Olalla in the 93rd minute of play. The Underdogs's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
