In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gep FC's goalkeeper Cornelio Nardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cornelio Nardo came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by GALACTICOS's Noel Hägele. But to his dismay, Noel Hägele quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cornelio Nardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Hägele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornelio Nardo came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by GALACTICOS's Noel Hägele. But to his dismay, Noel Hägele quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 21 minutes into the match, Elco Vid notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Gep FC's Cornelio Nardo. Cornelio Nardo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 23rd minute, Marcos Ederono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute Noel Hägele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Nardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 minutes Gep FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andrés Hong who took care of the corner kick. GALACTICOS's Andrés Hong was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cornelio Nardo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gep FC's Cornelio Nardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Hägele in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Noel Hägele ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cornelio Nardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 37 minutes into the match, GALACTICOS's goal looked a bit too open when Elvio Louis came free, but Esteban Dreer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Gep FC were awarded a corner. Inocencio Lizardi went to the cornerflag to take it. Inocencio Lizardi made a great header on Gep FC's corner, it was just that GALACTICOS's Esteban Dreer managed to reach the ball for a save. Gep FC's Cornelio Nardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Hägele in the 43rd minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Gep FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erk Hong came free, but Cornelio Nardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Gep FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Marcos Ederono hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Juan Müller made the kick off in the second half. GALACTICOS's Esteban Dreer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonello Bartolomucci in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of GALACTICOS booed when Gep FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Louis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute Noel Hägele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Nardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Lizardi in the 67th minute of play forced GALACTICOS's goalkeeper Esteban Dreer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cornelio Nardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Hägele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Ederono made in the 72nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Prospero Olivar however managed to control. If Noel Hägele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gep FC's Cornelio Nardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Gep FC from getting a goal against them. 77 minutes into the game, GALACTICOS's Noel Hägele nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cornelio Nardo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 82nd minute, Noel Hägele reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cornelio Nardo. The goal made the score 0-6. Cornelio Nardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Hägele in the 87th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Noel Hägele kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cornelio Nardo. That made the score 0-7 in the 93 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonello Bartolomucci in the 97th minute of play forced GALACTICOS's goalkeeper Esteban Dreer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteban Dreer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonello Bartolomucci in the 97th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched GALACTICOS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
