Rodrigo Massó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Perico in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute Lobos de Carelia were awarded a corner. Horacio Oliverios went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Lobos de Carelia's Prospero Perico got a free kick in the 10th minute. Rodrigo Massó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Perico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in PLUMIN's zone, Prospero Perico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Massó came out of the goal and Prospero Perico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nestor Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Mel in the 24th minute of the match. Prospero Perico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute Lucas Jimenez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Massó saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Prospero Perico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lobos de Carelia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. PLUMIN's Rodrigo Massó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Lia in the 37th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lobos de Carelia's zone, Danilo Brion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Cortez came out of the goal and Danilo Brion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute Delmiro Mel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, PLUMIN's Nestor Cortez threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Delmiro Mel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 47th minute, PLUMIN's Teo Fidensio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nestor Cortez. Nestor Cortez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Prospero Perico to make the kick off. Rodrigo Massó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Lia, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Rodrigo Massó took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Laurendi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerardo Berto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cirilo Salvino took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestor Cortez. Nestor Cortez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 81 minutes into the match, Gerardo Berto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nestor Cortez. Lobos de Carelia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerardo Berto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Lobos de Carelia's Pavao Zadro was substituted for Cristobal Lia. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prospero Perico got free with Rodrigo Massó in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, PLUMIN's Rodrigo Massó got control of the ball when Lucas Jimenez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lobos de Carelia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
